We conduct Destructive and Non Destructive Tests (NDT) for materials such as concrete, steel, bricks and mortar.
METHODS
Destructive Testing Methods:
Tensile Testing
Charpy Impact Test
Hardness Testing
Non Destructive Testing Methods:
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Radiographic Testing (RT)
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT)
Services
Infrastructural Integrity Assessments
TECLAB assesses building distress through visual inspections to identify damage, precise measurements to quantify defects, high-resolution photographs for documentation, probing to test material integrity, and sampling for laboratory analysis to understand material condition and composition.

To assess the extent of distress in in-service buildings, TECLAB employs a comprehensive methodology that includes visual inspection, measuring, photographing, probing, and sampling. Visual inspections systematically identify visible signs of distress such as cracks, deformations, and deteriorations. Precise measurements with tools like laser distance meters and calipers quantify these defects, while high-resolution photographs provide visual documentation, capturing both detailed and contextual images. Probing with tools such as hammers and awls assesses the integrity of materials by identifying internal degradation. Finally, material samples are carefully extracted, labeled, and sent to accredited laboratories for in-depth analysis of the condition and composition, ensuring a detailed understanding of the building’s structural health.
